In a special issue published to mark the ILO’s centenary, the International Labour Review calls for "rethinking institutions for social justice".

The global pandemic is once again posing a fresh challenge to the status and organization of work worldwide. It also raises questions about the capacity of international organizations - first and foremost the ILO - to deal with the systemic risks of which the global pandemic is a new warning signal. The International Labour Review has just published a special issue calling for "rethinking institutions for greater social justice".

Alain Supiot and Samuel Jubé contributed to this special issue, which, exceptionally, and over the next twelve months, will be freely available on the Wiley Online Library, in its different French, English et Spanish versions.

Read Alain Supiot’s article : "The tasks of the ILO at the time of its centenary" in French, English et Spanish.

Samuel Jube’s article : "Labour and International Accounting Standards: A matter of social justice"  in French, English et Spanish.

The International Labour Review was created in 1921 by decision of the Governing Body of the International Labour Office (ILO), a partner of the Institute.
