Ensa - École d'architecture de Nantes

The Ecole nationale supérieure d'architecture de Nantes is a component of the Etablissement Public Expérimental Nantes Université.

Research is carried out by the Ambiances Architectures Urbanités Laboratory, the CRENAU team, a joint research unit in which five institutions (CNRS, Écoles Supérieures d'Architecture de Grenoble et de Nantes, Centrale Nantes and Université Grenoble Alpes) combine their strengths and resources to address the issues and challenges of architecture, the environment and the city.

By joining forces with the "Habiter au prisme des limites planétaires" chair, ensa/NU is contributing to a new collective dynamic that will enable us to think differently about transformations in people's living environments, at every scale of spatial planning. This platform will provide a forum for discussion and interaction between all those involved in architecture (elected representatives, local authorities, associations, developers, promoters, architects, urban planners, landscape architects, engineers, etc.).

The residency period will provide an opportunity to nurture and share the work of students, teachers and researchers on the theme of forms and modes of living in the "new climate regime". Ensa/NU will welcome and mobilize all Nantes Université teaching practices and research activities interested in this theme.
