Storytelling Lab #2: Imagining the Animated Narratives of Tomorrow

As a partner of the second edition of Novelarium's Storytelling Lab, the Nantes Institute for Advanced Study will host two days of discussions dedicated to the narratives of tomorrow. On 11 and 12 September 2026, writers, artists, researchers, and animation professionals will bring their perspectives together to imagine new ways of telling the stories of today's challenges. Verónica Calvo Valenzuela, who was a resident of the Institute's Chair Living within Planetary Boundaries in 2025–2026, will take part in these discussions, contributing her perspective on questions of territory and attachment.
