Roger Jeffery, Fellow in 2013-2014, will present a lecture at the MSH Ange Guépin

on Tuesday, April 22nd, at 4:30pm

Within a series of lectures on Les impensés de la crise the MSH Ange Guépin organises, with the Centre de Recherches Appliquées en Santé Publique (CRASP) and the Nantes Institute for Advanced Study, a meeting on "Les disparus du système de santé" (’Disappearance from health systems". Roger Jeffery, Fellow at the Institute in 2013-2014 will give a lecture on the Indian case.

Roger Jeffery : The problem of disappearance from India health systems

Roger Jeffery is a Professor of sociology and South Asian Studies at the University of Edinburg. His research focuses on the study of the relationships between society, medicine and public health, with reference to South Asia in general and India in particular. He is currently a Fellow at the Institute.


Caroline Desprès : Le renoncement aux soins en France, représentations profanes et logiques sociales : une approche socio-anthropologique

Caroline Desprès is anthropologist, specialized in questions related to poverty and access to health care.
