News from the IAS

The board of trustees of the IAS-Nantes met on November 30th 2012, following Prof. Alain Supiot’s nomination to the College de France. Prof. Supiot had expressed his need to be relieved from his duties as Director by the end the 2012-2013 academic year, while remaining involved in the institute’s activities.

 The board members unanimously decided to appoint as new director Dr. Samuel Jubé, now acting as Secretary general, effective as from August 1st 2013. Along with this appointment, they decided to establish a strategy committee available to the Director. Following Mr. Jubé’s request, Prof. Supiot will preside this committee.
