Fellow at the Institute in 2014, Manish Pushkale lives and works in Delhi as an independant artist. He is a member of the Raza Foundation and one of the most accomplished disciple of Raza, the famous master of Indian contemporary painting. Having no artistic education, he carried a powerful and sensitive self-training in the artists complex Bharat Bhavan in Bhopal, Manish Pushkale managed to create an abstract language that carries its own mark.
He presented his paintings in India and abraod for solo and collective exhibitions. He was as well the curator of numerous Indian contemporary art exhibition.
