In memoriam Prof Dr Grahame Lock

It is with great sadness that we have learnt that Grahame Lock, a Correspondent Member of the Nantes Institute for Advanced Study, passed away, on July 21st, 2014.

Grahame Lock was a Professor of Political Theory and Philosophy, a Member of the Philosophy Faculty of the Oxford University, Director of the Department of Political Sciences of the Nijmegen School of management (Radboud University), and Professor of Political Philosophy at the Faculty of Law of the Leiden University.

He was involved in the activities of our Institute since its creation in 2008, and he contributed each year in selecting the Fellows we would invite in Nantes. His death is a great loss to our Institute.
