Common with the Maison des Sciences de l’Homme Ange Guépin , the main objective of this resource center is to provide an efficient Research Service by facilitating access to those collections which are already available as well as a range of digital documents (electronic journals, online databases), by providing interlibrary loan service world wide etc.. It offers the services of qualified personnel, and also allows researchers access to the library 24 hours a day.

The library staff is at the disposal of the IAS resident researchers to enable them to conduct their research in the best possible conditions. It is composed as follows:

o Véronique Cohoner, head librarian.
o Elizabeth Favreau: reception desk, loan,
o Stephanie Lévêque: "interlibrary loan",

As the Scientific Assistant of the IAS, Constance Cournède will be your main contact to guide you through the use of digital resources, and can also accompany you to visit the various libraries and archives in Nantes.
