Research Project:
"Mobility and Alterity: postcommunist figures "
Abstract:
Democracy, market economy, civil society - that is the triple essence of the post-communist transition. R. Darhendorf draw up the schedule: six months to democratic institutions, six years for the transition to a market economy, six decades to build a strong civil society, independent and vital. All these priorities present the transition from the perspective of the State. The perspective of citizens can be summarized in three words: migration, migration, and migration. Many post -communist people (from one tenth to third in each country) chose to separate their projects from those of their States, the vote by the feet precedes and always takes precedence over that in the polls, the networks were more efficient than the institutions and the individual temporalities were moved away from the state temporalities. The migration was one of the freedoms consumed with the greatest pleasure and greed. It provides a better understanding of a major sociological phenomenon: the emergence of the image of the post-communist individualistic which is no more shaped and guided by the community and socializing authorities, but whose centre is in itself, which claims its role as a player and is less inspired by the public good and large social issues than it is by its own project, its desire for self-fulfilment, his determination to live in his own time without paying for the slowness of reforms.
The purpose of the project is to analyze the post-communist migration in the triple perspective of national and European policies, migratory projects of post-communist citizens and immigrants who induce a new territoriality in the region left by its own citizens.
