Associated fellows

The associated Fellows stay at the Nantes IAS for a 3-4 month time a year, but retain their positions in their home institutions. These temporary but recurrent stays allow associated Fellows to take an active part in the animation of each yearly intake and in the scientific policy of the Institute, without cutting from their usual academic network and activities.

The associated Fellows, as any other Fellow, pursue their studies, take part to the weekly seminars, lectures and all events suggested to the communauty.
The associated Fellows are selected by the scientific advisory board of the Institute, upon proposition by its Director.

September 16th, 2009, the scientific advisory board has approved the application of Ibrahima Thioub, Professor of History at Cheikh Anta Diop University (Dakar, Senegal).

June 28th, 2010, the scientific advisory board has approved the application of Suresh Sharma, Center for Study of culture and society at New Delhi (India).

The associated Fellows are sponsored by the Nantes University.
